I am working on a AFB carb, purchased from club member, in real good shape! The rear jet slots will not come out. I would like to install larger jets, but am hesitating to drill into the existing ones, due to not removing all chips from any passages. The larger screw driver blade will not grab the slots, just makes it worse. Any thoughts on removal? Dave in mild Va. Snap On tool S6180 has a square end that fits jet slots very well. It is a tool for Dzus fasteners but the square end fits jets. BTW, AFB carburetors I have seen have been plenty heavy in the secondary jet area. Warren Anderson Sedona,AZ.
