Warren mentions the turn signal switch & that can be a source of your problem, at least 60-62's. I posted a how to take them apart on the club website ( if you can get them out of the dash first), and that was where my brake light problem existed. There are 7 or 8 wires that are part of that mechanism & they can fatigue & break inside.
