I would just like to say that I never said that I felt the car was overpriced or a buyer would be foolish to consider it. Sure, the "Buy It Now" number is a bit optimistic, but, hey, sometimes you get lucky, right? This is an auction after all. The car is very rare and desirable, no doubt, and the body and paint work appears to be very well done, and I have seen the car. My view is simply that it needs attention to detail be completed. If this car was finished to the level of expectations of our Club, I don't think the price would be out of line, certainly previous auctions have demonstrated that point. Judging by the responses to the price here, few are that motivated to own it. That said, a fool and their money will soon part, someone may go for it.....there are plenty of fools out there after all, just watch BJ auctions and you can get a group shot of them all. Should that happen hopefully the buyer will correct the flaws.
