RE: {Chrysler 300} Mirror and Bowden cable clios

As to Bowden cable clips, try any power equipment dealer of lawn mowers, snow blowers and the like which use these cables.

I re-chromed my external 57 mirrors and got new mirror glass cut but didn't for the internal one. Much harder to do so I just kept looking on Ebay Motors until a good used one came up. After that, reproduction external mirrors became available (that's annoying!) but I don't think that will happen for internal ones. I know there is less used parts available on ebay these days but it was the sort of part that was easier to find. I would just use the one you have until you find a better one.

hi
Anyone have a solution to 57/58 mirror glass failure ( spots in reflective back) ?

not obvious how/ if it can be taken apart , metal looks factory crimped over glass edge ; has threaded stud on ball on back , all the new mirrors I can find have a preassembled rod with ball on both ends , can't get our ring nut on it . short of machining it somehow ( could be done? threaded stud put into cut off rod?) — any answers ? repro subject ? Someone could set up to machine ?

second , on all over our heater controls and Bowden wire controls there is snap on clip to hold outer jacket of the Bowden . Looks like a std item used by others too .
I cannot find a number or supplier ? anyone know? always missing one .
thanks John g
