Putting never seize on the tapered axles is defeating the whole purpose of them. They are supposed to be a tight fit. It's not the just the keyway that holds them in place. How many times do you plan to take them off anyway? I would rather they be hard to get off, than have one shear a key and ruin an axle, or worse. Torque on these is 145 pound feet.
