All,

As long as we’re on the transmission filter topic…what filter upgrade can be done for the cast iron torqueflight? Obviously the valve body and pick up tube cannot be modified, but I was thinking some type of in line filter. Someone out there has improved on the house screen in the pick up…let’s hear it!

Also, unless going for concours details, you could forego this filter completely, as far as I know.  The Dacron filter normally used say in 1964 will screw right into the bottom of the 62 727 once you drop the pan.  Maybe Don V has an opinion on use (or not) of the inline filter, and whether any mods (like an extension tube) should be used with the Dacron filter.
