  I've always found that if a motor overheats at low speeds it can be too 
much timing or water pump issues.  If it overheats at freeway speeds, the 
radiator is the first place I look.  Course, if it overheats all the time it could be 
any of the above plus thermostat, airflow, or an internal engine problem 
(head gasket).  Joe
