I ahve to admit that in this end of the country of the 62 to 65 Mopar club
that I am a die hard fanatic and I WOULD NEVER DESICRATE A MOPAR!!!!!!!! So,
to all those Chebby and Ferd fans out there, keep your common, found at any
junk yard (WORLD WIDE), boat anchor shit out of our beloved Mopars. I
wonder, has any one ever wondered why there are so many Chebby's in any
junkyard across the USA? Because they are nothin but CRAP! Well, guys I got
to go and find me a Chebby to go and hit with a fucking sledge!

The small block chevy thing is quite the phenomenon, but it stands to
reason when parts for these things hang off every street corner and
they're cheap which is probably whats at the bottom of the whole thing.

Wally, I think you have summed it up exactly right. The Chevy small
blocks are plentiful. The replacement parts are cheap, and sold
everywhere. All this makes the SB Chevy engine the #1 choice for
rodders of all makes.

We have a few excellent Mopar street rods and custom trucks that show up
at our shows. The ones I've seen have used both small block and big
block Mopar engines. I'm always glad to see that they rodded their ride
with a Mopar. A Chevy engine just wouldn't look right under the
hood....Brian
