We did a full tune up with all new parts and it did not help. The engine had 16 inches of vacuume. We were looking for about 19 inches but could not find a vacuume leak until we check the power break booster. We crimped the vacuume hose to the booster and there it was. The engine was smooth and sweet again. Along with all the other good advise you'll get, I'm no expert but check for a vacuume leaks everywhere.
