Re: rear end clunk



I measured from the outside of each leaf spring
and came up with 46"1/2" does this sound about right?
I've heard that wagons might have a wider track in the
rear? can't find any de-mentions in the FSM?

Schuyler; probably the most favored rear end would be one out of a 65 b-body
as it is the narrowest with out going to an A-body rear, as well as it gets
rid of the tapered axles, and is a direct bolt in, the later b-bodies (66
up) are a bit wider, but should bolt in with no major problems, would just have
to stay with smaller tires on rear to avoid clearance problems
