I don't have power brakes, and Yeah, the pedals hard, like a couple of anvils up front that bring my wagon to a stop!
With the big discs up front, the harder I push the quicker I stop! no more fading, or pulling, or high speed chatter,
just rock solid braking and less grey hair production. I know this may not help with your problem, but maybe feel
a little better, anyway? (o:

Does this mean he may need to adjust the length of the pushrod?

Also on the previous post, re: bleeding the brakes.  Is that common to
stop the pedal from going all the way to floor when bleeding?  I've
always pressed the pedal as far as it would go when bleeding
previously, and wanted to make sure I'm not doing it wrong.
