went over to a friends houose and ID'd an old hemi from the guts of an
old desoto. the numbers in the front of the block were: CE5714371. It
is a 4 barrel carb on it and chrysler firepower valve covers. the
number i looked up said it was a 392 hemi from a 57 imperial with 325
HP and 9.25:1 Comp. Does this sound right. It is all the from carb to
pan and includes intakes and exhaust manifolds and even the old
genorator is still on top and brackets and all. It has been outside
under a tarp for a while and would need to be totally taken apart. the
guys wife did and he is looking to move and sell off parts What would
something like this be worth?
