Well we agree to disagree about the media blasting... No issues with paint today being better than todays paint, but the older single stage paints that are in good shape are great bases for a new paint job if a guy is trying to save some time and money. Earl People have been media blasting for years with no adverse effects on the final finish.Of coarse anyone that's in the industry know, the bare surface needs to be a braided(sanded) for proper adhesion. Secondly todays paint products are far and away much better then what the factory was using back when our cars where first built. --- "Earl H.
