I have a pair of 1965 Coronet Superstock spring hangars that I used for mockup when I put the springs into the longitudinals. They are like new because they are. If you are interested in them, PM me. The difference is 2" if I remember right. Earl YES you can use them!!!! You have to get some of MPs forward mounts, and measure the difference in length between the new and old springs, then drill holes in the new forward mounts to compensate for the shorter front half on the new springs. That's all it takes. It's a good thing to, because these are the oldest style springs you can really get, unless you spent big bucks at Firm Feel suspension or something. ----- Original Message ----- From: RCoronetfreak@xxxxxxx<mailto:RCoronetfreak@xxxxxxx> To: 1962to1965mopars@xxxxxxxxxx<mailto:1962to1965mopars@xxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, June 11, 2007 5:58 PM Subject: Leaf springs Hey everyone, I bet this topic has been explored but I can't remember. I have heard that on a '64-65 b-body that you can't run '66-70 b-body springs and I have also heard the opposite. Which is correct? I just got a deal on some Super Stock springs for a '66-'70 b-body and wanted to try them on my '64 Fury. Any input would be great! Also, I am thinking about selling my '65 Coronet 2 door post. What is stopping me is the fact that I really want to fix one up but mine has a lot of rust. It has rusty inner fenders, rusted out torsion bar mount, and needs floors and quarts and lower fenders. I have a couple of solid 4 doors but I just hate to cut up the post. Do I have a chance in hell of selling this and not losing my shirt?
