I've always used the Crane cam pre lube and a quart of moly based oil in  
with the mineral based 30 weight.  Usually 20 minutes @ 2,000.  Drain,  replace 
filter/oil and you should be good to go.  I do baby the motor for  about 500 
miles with no sustained rpm.  But that's just me.   Joe
