I don't think you have a starter problem, if it is rolling over. I am
going to suspect a fuel boiling issue first, and or a weak fuel pump,
or both. Here is a good test to start running down the problem.
Get it hot, let it sit, pump the accelerator twice try to start it. If
it does not start asap, stop, pour some fuel down the carb, just
a little bit, and try it again. If it wants to start, you have a fuel
issue. Then it will be time to decide if the carb is boiling the fuel
out, or the pump is boiling the fuel out, or not picking it up.

Folks,
Got a question regarding my Dart being difficult to start when it is hot.
When it is cold it starts right up no problems. When it is hot, if it is
only off a real short time it will start right up, but if it sits a while,
then it just wants to crank and crank and crank, and will finally fire up.
Doesn't smell like it floods, just keeps cranking. Any advise on what the
issue may be and how to correct it? Its a 273, with Edelbrock 600 cfm carb.
Thanks,
Bill
