I agree it's steep, but for a quality, bolt-in aluminum piece, that's what
you can expect to pay. My brother and I put 70's Ford big block crossflow
radiators in our cars. The hose fittings are in the right place for a big
block Mopar. It's not a direct bolt in, but it's pretty simple.
On my '65 Polara (C-body) I had to notch the battery tray and run a
different battery to make it fit. On my brother's '65 Belvedere, we put the
battery in the trunk. He was planning to do that anyway, but the radiator
won't fit otherwise.
Neither of us have cooling issues with big blocks in Texas heat.
I think the radiator we used was CU381.

I know i paid 450 for the old one but that was on a 220 estimate and back
when i was earning money. There is no chance ever I would put this much in
