Hamb and Cruisenites

Well I really got burned on HAMB.
I was explaining to a couple of fellows cam timing and its relationship to compression pressure and actual compression ratio. One fellow asked me to enter it in the tech week thing so after some help figuring out how i did. I even showed them how to make a cardboard device to model it... Then the tech guy emailed me and said it wasn't technical and had been disallowed. I dont know how much more techbnical it could have beeen. I can only assume he dodnt understand it or I was one of the guys so to speak. I wont lie I was a little burnt. Next time through I was asked to contribute and wrote "no chance I was already burnt here once and wont do that again." The head goon wrote me and said "comments like that will get you thrown out of here." I said "dont bother I will leave quietly. i dont belong here anyway." With some every second word was the F word and I dont mean Ford. Stuff has no place in a forum I believe so I just left . Proabaly i was a bit angry too if truth be known but anyway that is my HAMB experience. My tech thing by the way despite being unsuitable tfor tech week as not technical enough is still in their archived tech.
I too am finding the cuise night deal a bit tiring. Maybe I go too often. Need to do something else with the car. It is a nicer car to drive with the 355s for cruisng and my wife is happy now. The new rad repair and the safety bands are working fine so far as well however missed Cindy and Jeff at cruise last tuesday. I was the only 60s Mopar which is not good.
