very first tromp on it and ping! dinged those expensive new aircleaners. went home and cut the inner webbing. all good now. i "see" that smal ding in the cleaners every time i open the hood. "cut it"
Is anyone running a Max Wedge crossram w/ stock or reproduction air cleaners on an uncut '62 or '63 hood?I know Chrysler cut the inner support structure out on these hoods for MaxWedge applications but I was wondering if the stock crossram setup will fit without doing so. A similar topic was brought up recently so I know it is close.
