Jay,I believe that Lokar has the cable conversion for your trans and I know they have the kickdown linkage as I am using there's on my 65 Satellite. Possibly another source. http://www.lokar.com/

Hi Jay,I did exactly the same thing on my 65 Satellite. I assume you also have a cable shifted transmission. If so and you want to use your original shifter, you have to convert the 71 transmission to work with the cable. I bought the parts I needed from Imperial Services. You need the shifter converter package, different rear trans mount and speedo cable. You do have a make a change of the detent spring in the transmission valve body otherwise everything else is external and quite easy to do.
