Re: projects in progress

Dave,
Sounds as u are getting "step one" of your project done. The project worker must be in 100% good shape to complete his tasks.
Continued good luck on your recovery. The rodder world needs ya.

My project this winter has consisted of laying around for the past 8 weeks after a total hip replacement on 12/7 (doing the appropriate exercises, of course). Too cold in WI to work on my '64 Belvedere anyway, so it's tucked away in my buddy's garage with his cars. I'm going back to work on Monday. Hopefully I'll be back up and running well enough in the spring to do the rearend and spring swap I have planned for the '64.

Hey MO........don't be making promises you can not
keep,,,as I am really
wondering if this winter will come to an end,
I have pretty much
completed the 65/63 sportlite, and have been playing with a
1,8 Lazer turning it
into a three wheel motorcycle, and been gathering parts for
two more projects
a revamped 80s dodge stepside into a 4 wheel drive
warlock,,,,,also have
the Conquest that I picked up that I want to put my 413
small block
in,,,,,other than that will be a quiet year,,,,,

I see a lot of list members on here this
winter. What are you all working

on this off season? Any drag racers getting
ready for opening day at the
strip?
I have been doing a little on my 64 Dodge
440. Accumulating some more
parts-researching disc brake swap. Removed the heater
assembly- clutch and
brake pedal assembly- . next will be the wiper motor
and linkage and the
instrument cluster face plate for restoring.. I have
a few rust throughs
in
the air plenum for the heater to patch and try to
coat inside plenum with
rust encapsulator. This coming week I want to
repair a couple holes in
the
floor and weld in a four speed tunnel hump. And I
think I will order the
bracket and adapters for the front disc brakes.
I want to talk to a leaf
spring manufacturer in Omaha to see if he can make me
up a set of heavy
duty
rear springs or maybe even SS springs if he can get
the specs. Warmer
weather and sunshine will be here SOMETIME---I

promise!.........................................MO
