Re: Rear Glass 64 Polara 2dr hdtp

I was able to remove my rear glass by myself without breaking it. Then with it sitting wrapped in a blanket on supports, all by it's lonesome... Exploded into 40,000 pieces. My guess is after 40+ years under tension when it was out it just released...

I haven't looked for a new one yet, but they can be found...

Does anyone have a source for the rear glass for my Dodge?

Can the rear glass come out easy or do they tend to break?

I have heard both, but would like to remove both front and rear glass before painting

I have tried some salvage yard. Front is available but can't find rear.

Should glass guy be able to get it out? Or would you not take a chance unless you has a replacement?

Thanks

Has anyone re-chromed and repainted their console/shifter top plate for '64-'65 B-bodies console?

I had my re-chromed and considering next steps for etching primer, filler primer.

The metal surface under all the original paint is much rougher than I thought!
