manifolds (was RE: Need a new Toy?)




Sounds like a whiff of marketing speak from Indy perhaps? :) I agree 
that visuals are important for these year's Mopars. Understandably, 
dedicated racers will go for whatever intake gets them to the finish 
line first.

For hobbyist nostalgia, though, there always are people stopping by an 
open-hood '62-'65 Mopar with the original style cross ram. Just like the 
long cross rams intakes do for the earlier years' Mopars like the 
Chrysler 300s that use those. Much visual appeal if the carbs are really 
crossways to one another.

Inline 2x4s are cool, too, for specific years, like the 50's Plymouth 
318s and the dealer installed inline 2x4s on early 60's B body cars.
