Well, lets see if this works.
The dillemna: Car is a 64 Barracuda with nothing original to it
really anymore. I noticed between 1964 and 1965 wiring diagrams, that
the starters were wired in different ways- similar but slightly
different. the '64 has a heavy lead from the battery directly to the
starter solenoid, and no fusible link between firewall and starter
relay , but... in 65 they split the positive lead, one heavy lead
going to starter solenoid as before , but another going to starter
relay as well. That and there's a fusible link between starter relay
and firewall. Which way should I do it? I am confused. Don't ask how
it was wired when I got it, the wiring was so hacked up that I cant
use that as any sort of guide.
I drew some schematics here for both years to refresh memories
