Sorry for sounding like a blow hard in my last post. There are several things that can cause this. The choke could be set too lean. You could have a vacuum leak. The carburator could need other work. If the car has been sitting for more than a few days, it is not unusual to have to pump it a few times to get the fuel up there. If this is daily, though, like it sounds from your note. It isn't right.
