Hello-
I recently found a product that seals leaks much better than the usual
"stop leak" stuff. It is sold in Advance Auto stores here, around $9. for a
treatment.. The stuff is ceramic based, and will not plug a radiator. It will
seal head gasket leaks, radiator leaks etc. Unfortunately, I don't remember the
brand name-threw away the container. It sealed leaking head gaskets on a
3.0 Mitsubishi LeBaron. On the down side however, it did reduce the amount of
water passing through my heater core which has reduced the amount of
heat. If sealing the leak is of paramount importance and heat is not, it will
work. The product saved me a thousand dollar head removal and gasket replacement
job, including machine shop work.
