My experiences with "open" vs. limited-slip rear-ends has been this: When in a slippery situation the limited slip (sure grip) gives me both rear wheels trying to move the car, while with the open axle I am left with one wheel (on the more slippery surface) spinning away doing nothing, while the wheel on the "dry" surface is sitting still. Did I communicate that well? That has happened to me more that once, and with different open rear ends. That is when I end up sliding sideways. I'll take a suregrip any day, anyone having one they think is useless or don't need, send it my way, please :o) Bill ----------------- http://www.imperialclub.com ----------------- This message was sent to you by the Imperial Mailing List.
