Measure your existing cable before you go.  If your cable no longer exists,
measure your existing run, taking routing and tie-downs into consideration.
Most stores have pre-assembled cables with standard lengths.  Make sure you
get the one that has the proper number of wires, if any, coming out of the
terminal in addition to the main wire.  Also look to see what connector you
have on your starter (usually a post) and make sure it mates up with the
connector on the far end of the cable from the battery (usually an eye).

You likely won't find one where the auxiliary wire(s) is/are the same
length as your original.  More likely there will be a little stub of a wire
with a crimp connector at the end.  You'll have to do some splicing.

And if you always wanted a black positive cable to match your negative
because red is just not your color, here's your chance to get a
color-coordinated set.

I got mine at the local non-chain-store parts place.
They weren't NOS or anything, but weren't an issue and
were on the shelf.
