Re: IML: Where to get new brake lines for a '64?

A little more difficult, but not much is to get a coil of brake line and put the fittings and flares on yourself. You could probably do the entire car for about $30. Making the double flare fittings is not very difficult once you have done a few of them. Just make sure to put the screw-on connector on before you make the flare or you will be cutting it off and doing it again and hopefully the line will be long enough.

Why don't you go to the NAPA store and buy
brake lines and bend them your self. A lot
cheaper and not hard to do. Buy a tubing
bender. Just a small one will do it. THat is
what I ha ve done and works just fine.
