shops and vendors

Hi LB,

You landed in the right spot to get info on restoring
Imperials. NOS parts are tougher to find for this marque
and this year than many others. I know that many of our
club denizens are frequent visitors to eBay, squirreling
away NOS stuff as it comes up. There is little to no
remanufacture of hard parts, and your car has only 2 other
years that share its body, with relatively low production
numbers compared to Cadillac or chevrolet. I am planning
on replating and rebuilding almost everything on my 1960 -
there's just not that much out there besides drivetrain
parts and lightbulbs.

Our club site tries to be complete in its listing of the
known players for parts. Please take a look at the parts
vendors section for more. We also have a vender feedback
area, and you have to decide for yourself what the feedback
is in relation to your needs.

Most vendors are really good people that have your best
interests at heart. there are one or two that a little
research should uncover more information about, so make
sure to look into the vendor reviews section before
starting to call vendors.
