Radio Conversion, AM to FM

For those interested, I had my 1939 Imperial radio converted to FM.
The electronic gizmos are contained on a small board aprox the size of
an open match book cover & hidden within the radio case.

The source for parts &/or information is, Antique Automobile Radio,
Inc.
700 Tampa Road
Palm Harbor, Fl. 34683
(800)933-4926--Local/Intl (813)785-8733
Fax (813) 789-0283
( This info is from their 1997 catalogue)

They were able to tell me of Dealers
locations able to perform the conversion.
The expense can be over $500.00. They also advertise Vibrators, Tubes,
Transformers, Power Inverters, Voltage Boosters, Capacitors, Speakers,
Antennas, & Dial Glass.

That's All Folks
