61 Imperial Brake Booster



I guess you got whichever one was in the parts bin at the time the car was built. I've seen quite a few 61's & its probably about 50/50.

I checked out the dealer site suggested by and looked through his Imperial inventory.  One of his 61s (with 20,000
miles - yeah, right) has a photo of the engine compartment and it clearly
shows the exposed-bellows type of brake booster.  osed bellows on another 61.

Fellow 61 owners (and near years), what type of bellows do you have?  My
car is an early production (#394) so it doesn't seem to be a parts
carry-over issue.
