426 In An Imperial

Hello All,
Just one comment to the member giving the "specs" on the Magnum 440. The 66 and 67 had the same small valve heads as a "426 S" engine. This was basically the 360HP "413" engine enlarged to the legal NASCAR limit. In my experience it was a great mistake to offer this engine with the "413" hjeads. Obviously, the engineering staff agreed with my assessment. As this member went on to say  -- in 68 they changed the cam to a 268 degree unit. As I understand, they finally engineered large valve unleaded heads in 1971 or 72.
