This is very good information from Mark and even though it is not strictly Imperial related it is appropriate. I have had experience with exploding batteries and believe me its no fun. I had just charged a battery in my car closed the hood jumped in and hit the ignition when the thing blew. Talk about a mess. Thankfully I wasn't in its direct path. I am working on a project with a fellow who used to work for one of the major battery manufacturers and he has been telling me some of the horror stories that he became aware of regarding lead acid batteries-- the type most commonly found in automobiles (and Imperials). ----------------- http://www.imperialclub.com ----------------- This message was sent to you by the Imperial Mailing List.
