Brakes

I loaded up the drums and rotors today and took them to my mechanic for
measurement. They said they were all fine except for the one rotor. I
forgot to take the two rotors from the T&C over also to be measured. I hope
one of those is ok because that will save me another $120.00!

After that, I removed all the wheels from the car so I could check out the
brakes. Since I have to get a safety inspection to get the car on the road,
I want to do all I can before getting the inspection because once I do, I'll
have 30 days to fix anything they find wrong. If I need to replace rotors or
calipers or linings etc, I can do that before getting the inspection. I'll
be taking the drums and rotors to the sop to get them measured to see if I
can still use them. I'll probably replace the front wheel bearings and the
rear linings. Maybe the front linings but they look not too bad. The front
caliper pistons seem to be seeping fluid so I may be replacing the calipers
too.
