Brakes and Battery Tray Work

Tonight, while still recovering from inhailing too much welding smoke, I
tied into a couple projects that are less harmful to my health. I noticed
that the battery tray was rather rusted so I went out to the pile of parts
that is where my T&C used to be and picked out the rather nice tray that was
in that car. I cleaned it up and painted it black and installed it.

After that, I removed all the wheels from the car so I could check out the
brakes. Since I have to get a safety inspection to get the car on the road,
I want to do all I can before getting the inspection because once I do, I'll
have 30 days to fix anything they find wrong. If I need to replace rotors or
calipers or linings etc, I can do that before getting the inspection. I'll
be taking the drums and rotors to the sop to get them measured to see if I
can still use them. I'll probably replace the front wheel bearings and the
rear linings. Maybe the front linings but they look not too bad. The front
caliper pistons seem to be seeping fluid so I may be replacing the calipers
too.
