Window Woes

My 'new' 62 had some problems I needed to fix and I've been busy playing metalshaping and the 62 has been consuming my shop.  The problems are:

AC doesnt work
Power seat doesnt work
Some windows don't work

Fortunately the seat was all the way back so it fits me but today I fiddled with the knob and it started working, kinda.  Suspect dirty contacts.

The windows were a bigger problem.  None of the doors had the vapor barrier and the new door panels were already musty.  The right rear window would go down from the drivers side and up from the window switch.  In pulling switch, I discovered one contact was burned away.  I rebuilt the switch by scavaging a contact from one of the bad 61 switches and 'peened' it in place.

The window still did not work right which is why the contact had burned off I suspect.  Finally discovered someone had brazed a tooth on the regulator so I pulled a regulator out of the 61 parts car.  After about 6 hours of futzing with it, it still would not work unless I ran a jumper to the motor wires.  FINALLY discovered that the voltage at the window was only 7.71 but at the master 13.4.  Tracing things, I discovered 15.5V on the wire further up the line and determined that there must be a break in it and it just can't carry the load.  I spliced a new wire in and soldered it in parallel to the old and everything works.

Tomorrow I'll put the panel back on and work on the seat and AC.
