Correct.  I did not know that when I was trying to press out the ball joint of 
the lower control arm.  At the end, we torched it out!  The replacement ball 
joint did not press fit too well.  JB weld did it.  Not a good solution, but I 
have had no problems.  The bond is still strong.  If you think about it, the 
weight of the car is also holding the ball joint in place.  I am wondering 
where one can find lower control arms with new ball joints on.  They were once 
sold by the Chrysler dealers.

Mike, the pickle fork will destoy the boot.  The puller will not, and its so 
much easier and safer.
