hauling those Imperials

Heck, I tow barred one from Maine to N.C. years ago using a 65 Imp to tow a 66! Moved right along, no problem. Only scary part was going through the Baltimore Tunnel, which was narrowed for repairs. The hook-up tended to sway slightly which
kept me very alert!

Towed a '56 N.Y. sedan some years back with  '75 Imp from Alabama to N.C. through the mountains. Sometimes forgot I had the sedan out back, as the Imp didn't seem to feel the strain at all. Coming down the mountain was the scary part as the grade was long and steep and the twosome kept trying to gain speed! Luckily the Imp had disc brakes fore and aft.
