Old Chrysler trans fluid.

Dave;
 I can save you some trouble, and possibly money, with finding transmission fluid. Old type "A" can apparently substituted with Dexron II/Mercon, in fact some bottles of Dexron even state as such. Since G.M and Ford products are everywhere this should not be hard to find.

Hi I have an old Chrysler that takes a type  "A" Transmission fluid. can you supply this type of fluid. The car dates back to the 1950's,  I am also unsure  what is compatible if the type A is not available.
Thanks
Dave Sherratt.
