The other night on eBay, I saw a beautiful triple black '65 Imperial
convertible go for $19,100. I know the two guys who restored it and they
did a really good job. Actually, it should have gone for more given all the
work that had been done to it but I was really glad to see it go for at
least that much. So far, I have a lot more than that 'invested' in my '65
convertible's restoration so it is encouraging to say the least when one
goes for a good bit of money like this one did. Although I cannot say what
the future holds, I do hope to hang on to my Imperial for the next 30-35
years! Maybe then, I will be able to recoup the dollars I have sunk in it!
