'81 rear axle ratio?

I must agree, a turtle could beat these cars off the line. My f. injected ones 
do get a consistant 25 mpg. Also your axle ratio is correct.

2.23 - this with lock-up 904.  Makes for 25 MPG trip mileage.  No grunt off
