  Try asking around some automotive upholstery shops, being that a 58'
Imperial only has a vinyl covered pad they may be able to repair or
reconstruct one, as long as they have the original to make a pattern from.
As I see it it would be no different in their eyes to making a door panel.
"Just Dashes" is a boutique type operation that caters primarily to muscle
car guys that have plastic dashes and deep pockets, even for a 58' $1000 is
a bit steep on such a minor part of the restoration. You would be amazed
what good upholsters can do with contact adhesive the right amount of
padding.

Unfortunately we do not make a Dashtop for your car.
The only option is to send to Just Dashes in Las Vegas. They will
remanufcture for you. The cost is around $1000.00.

If you go to their homepage/car-selection-list they support Alfa, Mazda,
Lancia, MERKUR? but no Chrysler!!  Bummer.....
