The owners manual for the '66 doesn't mention disk
brakes at all. The only thing the manual says in
regards to the brakes is regarding the self-adjusting
by going in reverse that would be characteristic of
drum brakes (Which my self adjustment never worked
right on mine). My '66 had drums until I got my disk
brake conversion on the front last year.
