Patrick, the IML member that agreed to take custody of King George the 64, which is the car that I got for free about 6 months ago came today and picked him up.
This is the car that I gave away here some weeks back.
We spent some quality time at the local Kragen Auto Parts getting little stuff and then the car got a thorogh inspection by Partick. His spirits lifted as he got to know the car better, and despite looking a bit shaggy, George impressed enough to be trusted for a trip from San Francisco to LA.
He left today mid-day with George's signature exhaust leak whuffing sound, and I have not heard back yet, but I hope that both of them make it with a smile.
