Hi,

1. If you mean rought idle at stop light, ONLY when you press on the brake
pedal, this comes from the Kelsey hayes brake booster unit wich begin to fail.

To make a test, disconect the tube between the intake manifold and the brake
booster, then, close the hole on the manifold. Then start the engine, it
shoult idle smoothly.  

2. If you mean rought idle at any time, and if the engine runs nice when
driving at highway speed and is correctly tuned, this could come from a valve
wich not close completely. You may take the pressure in each cylinder and
look wich one fail.
