Hi to all Does anyone have ever heard about such cars ? In the french magazine "NITRO", there were reports in the latest months on american travelling-cars and the "april-may" issue it is about american stock-cars C-300 travelling car : Used to shoot movies in the '60s. The Chrysler dealer in Paris made one on request on a second-hand C-300 he had for sale. There is only one half windscreen, and a small seat. No roof, no doors, no body left except the front part. Quite amazing. F stock-car : A pilot from switzerland, Roger Buttet, drove US cars in the early '70s. One day he came to see the F in front of the garage of the owner. He bought it for almost nothing ! He did little "work" on it before racing. Front fenders were cut by the half, the hood was kept. He left the headliner in place, the door panels, the two rear seats were removed, the F has the optional trunk lid. He even drove with the quarter panel chrome moldings and medallion on the car. Well, these were other times........ Gilles (FRANCE) 1960 300F ------------------------ Yahoo! Groups Sponsor --------------------~--> Help save the life of a child.
