Check out Chrysler 300 Club News  Volume 35 No. 1 (300J feature) for Rolland Westra's article "One Man's Experience with Transmission Leaks." Sounds like he solved the same problem on his '62.

See, there is some good stuff in the newsletter sometimes.

in my 62 sport the transmission is leaking oil out the throttle rod...my trans guy says the valve body is worn and thus the leak out the top.

he said one can put in an anti-drain back valve and that might help.

these are words of my trans guy as i know nothing.

has anyone had this problem and solved it?

i would appreciated any advise.
