Apparently gaskets are not original equipment but over time either the manifolds or the block will warp from the heat and, shy of milling the manifolds, gaskets may/will become necessary.  Unfortunately, finding a set that will withstand the heat can be problematic.

I searched the parts book and it is a little vague to me. Do the single carb 360HP engines use exhaust manifold gaskets, or not? The parts book calls for them for the ram and hemi engines.
