Re: Plastic re-chroming

I had my '64 Belvedere instrument cluster and radio bezel refinished by Bill Petro at Special T's. I was very happy with the results. He's listed in the vendor's section of the website....Brian

The plastic chroming on all of my cars has been by Mr. G's. Been happy with all of it except one piece. I have sent stuff too him but most of it I've bought at the NATS so I saw it before I bought. However, the one less than satisfactory piece was bought at the NATS so look at it before you buy. Had a repair in the plastic that looked a little sub par.

I removed my instrument cluster today from my '64 Belvedere and want to get the plastic re-chromed. Has anyone on the list used CV Vacuum platers or Performance Car Graphics? If so...opinions? How do I go about removing the actual push buttons for the trans and heater? I want to repaint the tiny little letters on each push button. Thanks!<html><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV></html>
